Senior IT System Engineer Enterprise Applications (m/f/d)

In this role you take full technical ownership of business applications, ensuring stable operations and driving modernization. You will manage web application servers and related databases in enterprise environments, design migration concepts, and provide advanced support. You’ll automate routine tasks, document processes, and contribute to a high-performance IT operation within an international setting. • Own the lifecycle of business applications from operations to modernization
• Operate and administer Web Application Servers (IIS, Tomcat, WildFly, Apache, nginx) and databases in enterprise environments
• Design and implement services, upgrades, and migrations within complex infrastructures
• Analyze incidents, optimize performance, and provide 3rd Level Support
• Automate recurring tasks with PowerShell, Python, or Bash; document and improve processes and standards

• Several years of experience in operating and administering enterprise web applications
• Deep expertise in application and platform operations
• Web Application Servers on Linux and Windows; relational databases (MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
