Senior Machine Learning Manager, Borrowing (Fully Remote)

• Borrowing is a key growth engine for Monzo, requiring a senior ML leader to guide expansion in the UK, new customer segments, and Europe.
• You will own ML roadmaps, improve model performance, and shape the use of Open Banking and transaction intelligence.
• This role combines near-term commercial impact with long-term strategic advantage in credit decisioning.

What you'll own:

• Borrowing ML roadmaps across UK optimisation, new customer segments, and EU expansion.
• Faster model improvement through new data and feature engineering.
• Building and leading a high-performing ML team to raise the bar on model quality and speed.
• Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, SQL, dbt, Python, and AI tooling for productivity.
• Experience with Go for backend services and AWS for ML services is a plus.
• You will work with advanced ML and AI methods on structured financial data.
