Objective

As a Senior Marketing Executive within our Performance Marketing Team in Berlin, you will drive our global performance growth through search engine marketing initiatives. You will take full ownership of managing and scaling large-scale SEM campaigns across platforms including Google Ads, Bing Ads or other social media channels.

You will work closely with other Performance Marketing teammates in the Paid Search division and cross-functional marketing teams across both Berlin and Hong Kong offices to executive high-impact multi-country campaigns. You will optimize large advertising budgets and leverage data-driven strategies to achieve company growth targets, boost brand presence, and ultimately drive quality traffic to our website.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, build, and scale multi-country Paid Search (Google Ads Search & Shopping) and Bing Ads campaigns to hit the key targets.
• Oversee and strategically allocate large-scale advertising budgets across multiple markets and localized campaigns.
• Work closely with teammates within the Performance Marketing team to align on channels, share learnings, and drive overall performance synergies.
• Collaborate actively with other internal marketing functions (e.g., social media, influencer, country) and communicate seamlessly across regional hubs, particularly between the Berlin and Hong Kong offices, to coordinate localized and multi-country campaigns.
• Monitor performance metrics, conduct regular campaign optimizations, and troubleshoot delivery issues to drive sustainable performance growth.
• Develop data-driven insights to uncover trends, improve ad efficiencies, and inform strategic decisions.
• Conduct competitive research and stay up to date with the latest SEM trends, automation techniques, and industry best practices to innovate continuous campaign growth.

Requirements

• Outstanding analytical background with a strong proficiency in interpreting complex performance metrics and leveraging data for optimization.
• Strong focus on operational execution, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive, team-player mindset.
• 4 to 6 years of hands-on SEM experience, including managing large-scale budgets and executing Google Search and Shopping Ads campaigns across multiple countries/regions.
• Proven experience working cross-regionally / cross-functionally and navigating within a matrixed organization.
• In-depth understanding of current SEM trends, smart bidding strategies, ad platform features, and search engine algorithm updates.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, eCommerce, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Certified in Google Ads (Search, Shopping) in Google Skillshop
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data analysis) and experience with GA4 and Tableau.
• Professional command of written and spoken English. Fluency in additional languages would be an advantage.
