Senior Power Automation Solution Engineer (f/m/d)

In this role you translate engineering workflows into product concepts for the Integrated Power Automation Suite, working closely with PLM and software teams. You will define development use cases, validate feasibility and scalability, and clarify complex concepts for software teams. You’ll facilitate workshops to gather feedback and drive continuous improvement across the global engineering network. • Conceptualize complex engineering solutions with PLM and transform needs into product concepts and development use cases
• Serve as a technical bridge among PLM, UX, engineering experts, and development teams to align requirements and priorities
• Translate workflows, customer feedback, and domain requirements into structured functional specifications
• Validate concepts for engineering feasibility, usability, scalability, and alignment with Power Automation architectures
• Facilitate workshops with engineering experts, regional teams, and customers to derive actionable product improvements
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and scale productivity improvements across the global engineering network

• Extensive experience in Power Automation, protection systems, or substation automation architectures with on-site commissioning
• Solid knowledge of the Power Automation project execution value chain
• Validated knowledge of High Voltage and Medium Voltage electrical networks
• Excellent analytical, conceptual, and communication skills to explain engineering topics to multidisciplinary teams
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Automation Engineering, or equivalent
