Fiscal and compliance is one of the most complex and consequential areas of our platform. Connecting a new market currently takes two to three months of engineering. There's no shared abstraction layer, and the team has been operating reactively. This role exists to change that model not by delivering faster inside it, but by redesigning it entirely.

What You'll Be Up ToOwn the platform visionDefine the architectural direction for howthe companyhandles fiscal and compliance requirements across markets. Not just the next feature, but the underlying model that makes future integrations faster and cheaper. You write the vision, own the roadmap that delivers it, and are accountable when itdoesn'tget built.

Drive the design of a reusable fiscal integration framework that turns new-market integrations from bespoke engineering projects into scalable, configuration-driven workflows.

Partner closely with Engineering and Tech Leads on architectural decisions with multi-year platform implications.

Restructure the roadmap Within your first90 days, build a structured 12-month roadmap that explicitly balances regulatory delivery, platform investment, and technical debt reduction. The teamoperateswith a six-month forward view, not a reactive backlog.

Lead the Crew PMManage the Senior PM within the turf with clear scope, direct feedback, and a real development path. Where the work is foundational or cross-cutting, you may own a crew directly.

Partner with the Product Compliance Leader Our compliance function owns regulatory intelligence and go-live sign-offs. You translate that into product decisions and push back when regulatory input has platform implications. Two complementary functions, one tight rhythm.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

• A track recordof platform-level product strategy, not just feature delivery
• Experience building the investment case for foundational engineering work and defending it under short-term pressure
• Ability to drive architectural alignment with Engineering without line management authority
• Comfortable operating in domainsyou'restill learning, with a concrete plan to close gaps fast
• Strong written and verbal communication in English; experience in compliance-adjacent or regulated software a plus
