Senior Product Manager PCS (m/w/d)

As Senior Product Manager for PCS, you own the global strategy and lifecycle for Fluence’s PCS portfolio, guiding roadmap and product priorities across Americas, EMEA, and APAC. You will translate market needs, technology advances, and regulatory changes into clear requirements, working with cross-functional teams to deliver competitive, high-performing solutions. You will influence global product direction and collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and commercial teams to enable long-term growth. This role offers impact across a growing energy storage portfolio and the chance to shape critical grid-connected technologies.

• Own global PCS strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management
• Define priorities from customer needs, market trends, and technology developments
• Align PCS plans with overall Fluence strategy and global footprint
• Balance regional needs with a cohesive global product approach
• Improve performance, reliability, functionality, cost, and scalability
• Develop deep understanding of customer and market dynamics across global energy storage
• Monitor industry trends, competitors, regulatory developments, and standards
• Translate requirements into product requirements and development priorities
• Partner with Engineering to define capabilities and targets
• Lead cross-functional alignment across Product, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Commercial, Quality, Service, and regions
• Act as primary interface between PCS and system-level products
• Support customer-facing teams with product expertise and guidance
• Collaborate on sourcing strategies and supplier capability assessments
• Manage products through lifecycle from definition to end-of-life
• Drive standardization, simplification, cost reduction, and continuous improvement

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Energy Systems, or related discipline
• Significant experience in Product Management within power electronics, PCS, inverters, energy storage, or related technologies
• Strong understanding of PCS technologies and drivers of performance and competitiveness
• Proven ability to translate market needs into product strategies and roadmaps
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams to deliver technical products
• Experience working with Supply Chain, Procurement, and manufacturing partners
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities
• Data-driven decision-making balancing customer needs with quality, performance, cost, and business objectives
