Senior Security Incident Response Analyst (m/f/x)

In this role you lead advanced security investigations and threat intelligence within a fast-growing FinTech. You will drive end-to-end incident response and proactive hunting, shaping security across cloud and on-premises environments. You partner with cross-functional teams to translate complex findings for executives and engineers. You’ll implement automated response playbooks to accelerate containment and recovery, making an impact on customer trust and platform resilience. • Drive end-to-end incident lifecycle from detection to containment and recovery
• Lead threat intelligence, analyze trends, and integrate feeds into detection logic
• Perform deep host and network forensics to identify root causes
• Design and refine automated SOAR playbooks to improve response speed
• Conduct hypothesis-driven proactive threat hunts across environments
• Act as escalation point for complex alerts and mentor junior analysts
• Generate and present incident reports to technical and executive stakeholders

• Extensive hands-on SOC or incident response experience with Tier 2/3 responsibilities
• Proficiency with SIEM/SOAR platforms, EDR tools, and forensic toolsets
• Hands-on experience with AWS security controls and container security
• Strong understanding of network protocols, endpoint security, and common attack vectors
• Ability to use Python or similar scripting languages for automation and data analysis
• Relevant certifications such as GCIH, GCFA, CISSP, or equivalent are a plus
• Excellent analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication skills to translate technical findings to non-technical audiences
