Senior Talent Acquisition Manager (f/m/x)

Location & Compensation: Hamburg | Hybrid with 2-3 days onsite | 60,000 € - 65,000 € p.a. (40 hrs/week) | 30 days vacation | German / English C1.

Suena Energy is a green tech startup specializing in algorithmic energy trading for energy storage systems and renewable energies. Our vision is a world where clean energy is used reliably, economically, and intelligently. Through AI‑based optimization and trading software, we maximize the revenues of operators of large‑scale energy storage and renewable assets in short‑term electricity and balancing markets while minimizing their risks.

Mission

• Own talent acquisition end‑to‑end – from sourcing and interviews to offer, across commercial, finance, trading, and tech roles.
• Take existing processes and scale them – refine interview processes, assessment steps, and workflows as we grow.
• Own sourcing and channel strategy – find people before they are looking.
• Partner with hiring managers on role definition and process – structured interviews, clear decision‑making, no gut‑feeling hires.
• Build out KPI tracking – evaluate what works in hiring, not just CV inflow.
• Collaborate with marketing on authentic employer branding.
• Work with People Lead on strategic calls – leveling changes, new tools, process design with direct feedback from the Talent Partner.

Qualifications

• Proven recruiting track record in tech‑driven, fast‑paced environments across a broad range of roles.
• Capability to build roadmaps, not just job ads – translate headcount plans into prioritized action.
• Experience with structured interviews and assessment tools – reduce bias while filling positions.
• Challenge hiring managers when needed – collaboratively, not combatively.
• Commitment to candidate experience as a craft, not a checkbox.
• Direct communicator – raise issues, push back when something is off, and follow through.
• Fluent in German and English (C1 each); English is the working language, German for stakeholder interaction.
