Solution Architect (w./m./div.)

In this role you will define and drive end-to-end cloud solution architecture for product-agnostic digital services aligned with the roadmap. You will collaborate with product, engineering, operations and security to turn business initiatives into scalable Azure-based solutions. You’ll establish standards, lead architecture reviews, and guide teams to deliver secure, cost-conscious, and maintainable systems. • Define and drive end-to-end cloud solution architecture for the roadmap
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, operations and security to translate initiatives into scalable solutions
• Design secure, reliable, and cost-effective Azure architectures (compute, networking, storage, data, integration, AI)
• Establish architecture standards, reference patterns, and governance checkpoints
• Lead architecture reviews and risk assessments across parallel programs
• Enable event-driven and microservices-based designs for interoperability and maintainability
• Support implementation teams with guidance, artifacts, and decision records
• Drive cloud optimization to improve efficiency, reliability, and TCO
• Coach architects and engineers and contribute to architecture community practices

• Deep knowledge of Azure Cloud Platform and infrastructure services
• Strong understanding of solution architecture frameworks and methods (e.g., arc42)
• Hands-on experience with microservices, SOA and event-driven patterns
• Software engineering background in Java, .NET or similar stacks
• Practical experience with Linux environments and cloud operations
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code and automation (ARM, Bicep, Pulumi, CI/CD pipelines)
• Solid understanding of security, compliance, resilience and operational excellence in large-scale cloud solutions
• Desirable: experience in AI/ML and IoT-enabled solutions
• Fluent in English and good command of German
