Specialist Solution Architect Ansible (m/f/d)

In this role, you will support the Ansible Sales team as a technical pre-sales expert, guiding customers from discovery to implemented solutions. You will collaborate with customer engineering, development, and operations teams to align business needs with Red Hat capabilities. You’ll lead cross-functional engagements to architect innovative, reliable automation solutions and advocate for customers within internal teams. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role at scale, offering opportunities to shape automation strategies and contribute to the Ansible community.

• Lead technical validation with customers, including demos, technical deep dives, and workshops
• Deliver discovery, analysis, and design workshops for diverse teams to shape use cases and architectures
• Contribute thought leadership via white papers, webinars, and conference talks in the Automation/Ansible space
• Run Red Hat Ansible workshops for small to mid-sized teams to influence customer use cases and designs
• Scope and guide proofs of concept and pilot deployments
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, Professional Services, Support, and Sales to ensure a world-class customer experience
• Help develop repeatable methodologies and tools to scale Red Hat’s services and reduce delivery risk
• Present thought leadership in Ansible communities through papers, webinars, and industry talks

• 3+ years in Automation space
• 3-5 years in a developer/solution/enterprise architect or consulting delivery role focused on Automation
• Strong knowledge of Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform and automating infrastructure, networking (especially Cisco), and security solutions
• Experience in architecting automation solutions (Puppet, Chef, SaltStack, Terraform, etc.)
• Knowledge of UNIX/Linux systems (preferably RHEL), Red Hat Satellite, and related tech
• Proven ability to build and manage relationships across engineering, commercial, and executive levels in large enterprises
• Ability to orchestrate proofs of concept from start to close
• Red Hat Certification or degree in Computing/Engineering is desirable
