Solutions Architect (German Speaking), Financial Services

As a Solutions Architect at AWS, you guide strategic customers through challenging, mission-critical cloud projects and advocate best-practice architectures aligned with business outcomes. You build trusted advisor relationships, influence AWS feature roadmaps, and share technical content to accelerate customer success. You educate customers about the art of the possible and invite them to collaborate across workshops, demos, and reference architectures. You’ll mentor teammates and deepen your technical depth while shaping cloud solutions for enterprise customers in financial services.

• Work directly with strategic customers to accelerate mission-critical projects and recommend best-practice architectures
• Build technical relationships and act as a trusted advisor, aligning guidance with customer interests
• Contribute to product roadmaps by sharing customer feedback
• Create and share technical content, reference architectures, and best practices (white papers, code samples, blogs)
• Evangelize AWS through workshops, user groups, meetups, or public speaking
• Participate in hiring decisions and mentor team members to develop skills
• Develop deep technical domain knowledge relevant to customer outcomes
• Lead architecture reviews, whiteboarding sessions, demos, and technical workshops
• Collaborate with account management, professional services, support, product teams and partner ecosystem
• Design cloud-native architectures and showcase AWS capabilities to customers
• Continuously expand expertise via customer interaction, collaboration, and hands-on experiments

• Experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics
• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• Experience in IT development or consulting in software or Internet industries
• Fluent in German (speaking, writing, reading)
• Preferred: experience migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud
• Preferred: experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
• Preferred: hands-on AI-assisted coding or AI applications for business process automation
