Sourcing Manager, Excess Inventory - EMEA

As EMEA ARS Manager, you will lead and grow the asset recovery business within Converge’s global strategy. You’ll develop OEM/EMS relationships to unlock reciprocal trading and expand supply and sales opportunities. You will manage a team, steer purchasing decisions, and optimize the buy-side and sell-side of trading. This role offers visible impact in a fast-changing distribution environment, with cross-functional collaboration and a chance to shape the ARS program.

• Prospect and map accounts to generate new product availabilities and proactive offers
• Lead and develop the ARS team
• Create supply and sales opportunities via the X-Trade system
• Negotiate with customers to close purchase orders while protecting margins
• Decide on asset purchases under management direction
• Identify innovative purchasing opportunities
• Oversee purchase order processes and related metrics
• Stay informed on market conditions, pricing, and competitive alternatives
• Develop and implement strategic purchase programs at key accounts
• Ensure adherence to Converge credit requirements
• Maintain and regularly update the information database
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maximize buy- and sell-side opportunities
• Develop new customers and accounts
• Perform duties with minimal supervision

• Minimum 5 years purchasing experience in electronics
• Proven team management experience
• Fluency in English and German or Dutch
• Professional MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Willingness to travel for business
