Overview

In this role you will partner with EMEA teams to design, evaluate, and optimize regional distribution networks, driving service improvements and cost efficiency. You will model scenarios, improve routing and replenishment, and support data-driven decisions with analytics and templates. The work focuses on sustainable, cost-aware network design and continuous improvement, contributing to long-term supply chain resilience. This position offers hands-on impact across networks, sustainability goals, and cross-functional collaboration.

Verantwortungsbereiche
  • Analyze and optimize regional distribution networks to improve service and reduce logistics cost
  • Identify bottlenecks in distribution and replenishment structures and suggest improvements
  • Develop simulations to compare cost and service alternatives and support decision-making with data-driven scenarios
  • Improve routing logic, transportation modes, frequencies, and identify CO2 reduction opportunities
  • Optimize replenishment rules and allocation flows; align planning and logistics requirements
  • Provide tools and templates for better decision-making and analytics
  • Standardize and improve structural flow processes through continuous improvement
  • Build alternative flow concepts and contingency plans for risk and resilience planning
  • Support long-term network strategy and strategic network development
Zentrale Anforderungen
  • Bachelor or Master in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field
  • 3–5+ years in supply chain, logistics, network optimization or similar analytical roles
  • Strong expertise in distribution network design, transportation modeling, and supply chain flow optimization
  • Experience with scenario modeling, simulation tools, and cost-to-serve analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Solid understanding of transportation strategies, routing optimization, and inventory planning principles
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Knowledge of logistics cost drivers, service metrics, and CO2/emissions considerations
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus
  • Strong stakeholder management across functions and regions (EMEA exposure preferred)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English; additional languages a plus
