Sr. Automotive Exterior Designer - Passenger car

In this role you will help shape the external brand image of Great Wall Motor for the EU market. You will align with brand design direction across departments and drive exterior styling from concept to production-ready reality. You’ll lead design reviews, follow project progress, and mentor designers to elevate capabilities. This position emphasizes cross-border collaboration, with initial work in Baoding and later in Munich. You will contribute to high-impact, mass-produced models with a trusted, design-led approach.

• Study brand design direction with cross-functional teams to define a new brand image
• Oversee exterior styling concepts, sketches, and clay models; manage project progress and design direction
• Interview and guide design talent to raise project experience and design ability
• Coordinate with car networking and other departments to ensure alignment with production feasibility
• Drive design reviews and ensure timely delivery of design milestones

• Bachelor
• 5-10 years of vehicle exterior design experience for EU market
• Led the design of more than one mass-produced model
• Strong ability to promote design development based on 3D models
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to drive project progress
