Strategic 3rd Party Portfolio Manager (m/f/d)

In this role you shape the long-term strategy for the cash cycle and Printworks ecosystem, aligning capabilities, partnerships, and investments with G+D’s market leadership. You translate market trends into a strategic roadmap across software, automation, manufacturing, logistics, and digital services. You drive supplier frameworks, make-or-buy decisions, and portfolio evolution to enable software, service, and platform-based business models. You will collaborate across functions to deliver sustainable growth and competitive advantage, guiding executives through investment scenarios and strategic options.

• Define long-term target architecture and roadmap for Cash Centers, Printworks, and digital currency management solutions
• Analyze current process and technology landscapes to extract future requirements for CTCS solutions
• Assess supplier markets and technology trends to identify upsell opportunities for turnkey solutions
• Develop 3rd party portfolio strategies aligned with customer needs and business objectives
• Create a strategic supplier framework considering partnerships, risks, and governance
• Lead make-buy-partner decisions and establish strategic supplier agreements
• Develop business cases, financial models, and investment recommendations for senior management

• Proven experience in Strategy, Portfolio Management, Partner management, Corporate Development, Consulting, or Technology Management
• Strong understanding of industrial software, automation, digital transformation, and technology-driven business models
• Experience building strategic partnerships and managing complex stakeholder ecosystems
• Strong financial and analytical skills, including business case development and investment evaluation
• Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for creating new business opportunities and driving organizational change
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in English; additional languages are a plus
