System Engineer (m/f/d)

In this role you will design and implement system integration and network solutions for complex, defence-related environments. You will work closely with cross-functional system integration teams to deliver secure, reliable IT and electrical interfaces. You’ll tackle migration, upgrade planning, and ongoing troubleshooting to ensure resilient operations. • Design and implement IT and electrical system integration for comprehensive solutions
• Design and implement network solutions
• Execute system integration projects in a military environment
• Support planning and execution of migration and upgrade projects
• Administer network components (routers, firewalls, switches, wireless)
• Create configuration documentation
• Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot problems
• Collaborate closely with the system integration team and other teams

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or comparable qualification with several years of experience
• Experience operating complex IP network structures
• In-depth knowledge of routing and switching
• Desirable: knowledge of Cisco or HPE-Aruba, firewall systems and automation tools (PowerShell), wireless technologies
• Fluent German and good English
• Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to travel up to 30%
