Team Lead (m/f/d) Control Systems

As Team Lead in Bergen, you will steer a skilled control systems group across Norway and Poland, shaping offshore and marine equipment development. You’ll own robust control solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and optimize workflows and documentation. You contribute hands-on in design, testing, and lifecycle support, while driving product innovations. • Lead and develop the control systems team with clear task delegation and performance focus
• Deliver robust control system solutions through collaboration with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, R&D, and product teams
• Define and optimize engineering workflows, tools, strategies, and ensure high-quality software and documentation
• Design and develop complex control systems for offshore and marine equipment (PLCs, VFDs, hydraulics, OT networks, cybersecurity)
• Support full project lifecycle (concept development, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, service) and contribute to product innovation

• MSc/BSc in Automation, Mechatronics, Software Engineering or similar
• Leadership experience is an advantage
• Strong PLC/HMI/SCADA skills (Siemens TIA Portal preferred)
• Experience with frequency drives, OT networks, and cybersecurity; motion-compensated systems a plus
• People management experience
• Fluent in English
