In this role you will help shape the frontier of AI for enterprise data by defining and prototyping a composable, multi-modal foundation-model architecture that spans structured and unstructured data. You will stay at the cutting edge of research and translate insights into concepts, architectures, and roadmaps for multiple R&D teams. The role blends hands-on model work with strategic vision and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced, European-origin AI initiative. You will drive impact by enabling scalable training across modalities and data sources.

- Define the research roadmap for mixture-of-architecture foundation models across modalities (tables, time series, graphs, text, etc.)
- Define processes, hypotheses and experiments and lead the project with a team of AI Scientists
- Balance long-term research with hands-on coding, experiments, and technical improvements
- Guide enablement materials and blueprints for training mixture-of-architecture models on various data sources (potentially federated)
- Collaborate cross-functionally to inform value proposition and partnering ambitions
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or other relevant disciplines
- Extensive experience and academic background in Foundation Models on Structured Data with publications or applied research track record
- Hands-on experience in researching, prototyping, and advancing machine learning models
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar
- Optionally, hands-on experience with Graph ML frameworks
- Experience with Machine Learning and Knowledge Modeling on structured data (ERP/CRM domain a plus)
- Proven leadership and strategic mindset, with strong organizational abilities
- Excellent communication and documentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
