Technical Product Manager - Grid Components Medium Voltage (f/m/d)

In this role you drive the product strategy and lifecycle for Grid Components, aligning with market and company goals. You will collaborate across marketing, sales, development and production to deliver market-ready solutions and optimized costs. You’ll provide technical expertise for customer projects and lead modernization and innovation efforts. The position offers a chance to shape grid technologies within a cross-divisional, global context and to contribute to ABB’s mission of advancing power and energy solutions.

• Implement the product strategy for Grid Components, aligned with market trends and company goals
• Ensure complete product documentation and contribute to specifications and business plans
• Coordinate across marketing, sales, development and production for successful product development and launches
• Conduct cost analyses and develop actions to optimize manufacturing costs
• Provide technical expertise for customer projects, training and engineering/project planning
• Manage product modifications and drive innovation with development teams

• Technical studies in electrical engineering, ideally with energy technology focus
• Knowledge of medium-voltage/high-voltage technology and vacuum switching technology
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
• Technical affinity, teamwork and communication skills, analytical mindset, goal orientation
