Turnaround Construction Manager

In this role you lead turnaround preparation and field execution for German sites within GE&T, driving safe, efficient project delivery. You will shape execution strategies, staffing plans, and constructability reviews, aligning with GoalZERO HSE and company targets. Collaborate across levels to remove obstacles and deliver on-time celebrations of safe, high-quality turnover of turnaround events. This is a hands-on leadership role at scale, with travel and cross-country coordination as core elements.

• Coordinate turnaround planning and scheduling activities up to T-6 with EU Planning and Scheduling support
• Provide leadership to achieve GoalZERO HSE performance
• Lead development and implementation of turnaround execution strategies and best practices
• Lead and participate in constructability reviews and schedule optimization
• Develop staffing plans for pre-turnaround and execution phases based on man-hour estimates and contractor needs
• Lead training and onboarding for the execution team
• Be accountable for maintenance field activities related to turnaround and related capital projects
• Communicate effectively across organizational levels to build support and remove obstacles

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or related technical field; equivalent qualification
• Minimum 15 years of experience in a process plant or comparable environment
• At least 10 years in turnaround and/or project experience; 5 years of management experience preferred
• Construction management expertise with knowledge of craft and quality assurance practices
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple changing priorities
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and continuous improvement skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels
• Strong leadership, mentoring and teamwork abilities
• Administrative skills and sound organizational abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and SAP; knowledge of field execution for petrochemical turnarounds; Primavera scheduling knowledge preferred
• Willingness to travel ~20% within EU and short-term assignments outside home area
