UX / UI Designer – Video Products (m/f/d)

In this role you will craft intuitive, user-centered experiences for professional media tech products such as multiviewers and video workflows. You collaborate with product, architecture, and engineering teams to translate needs into UX/UI concepts, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs. You design responsive interfaces across desktop, tablet, and mobile, contribute to design systems, and drive usability through research and workshops. You support cross-functional teams with documentation and design resources, shaping a unified product experience. This position offers a hands-on chance to influence media technology products at RIEDEL.

• Design user-centered experiences for professional media tech products (multiviewers, video compression, media chains)
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and Engineering to translate requirements into UX/UI concepts
• Create wireframes, flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
• Design responsive interfaces for desktop, tablet, and mobile with consistent portfolio-wide UX
• Contribute to design systems, information architecture, and UX standards
• Plan and conduct user research, usability testing, and stakeholder workshops
• Maintain design libraries, resources, and documentation for cross-team collaboration
• Facilitate design workshops and discussions to align stakeholders and drive user-focused decisions

• 4+ years of UX/UI or Product Design experience, ideally in complex software or enterprise environments
• Experience designing end-to-end user experiences from research to implementation support
• Strong proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma) and understanding of design systems, IA, and interaction design
• Experience in user research, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews to inform design decisions
• Desirable: experience in broadcast, media technology, live production, or professional media environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to explain complex concepts simply
• Fluent English; German and additional languages are a plus
• Degree in Design, HCI, Media Design, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable field, or equivalent practical experience
