In this leadership role, you define the strategic direction for Product Technology Management and ensure alignment with global portfolio objectives. You oversee specification and documentation across the product portfolio, from legacy to new developments, while guaranteeing regulatory compliance and quality. You drive technology innovation, lead multiple leadership teams, and optimize the portfolio to maintain market leadership and profitability. • Define and steer the strategic direction of Product Technology Management aligned with corporate and portfolio strategy
• Oversee definition and maintenance of technical specifications and documentation for the entire product portfolio
• Ensure global regulatory compliance (MDR, FDA) and maintain integrity of technical documentation
• Identify and foster technology innovations, driving the Technology Push from GRD into Solutions
• Plan and optimize the product portfolio through phase-ins/phase-outs for profitability and leadership
• Lead multiple teams of leaders and managers, promoting development and a culture of excellence
• Monitor timelines, cost, and quality targets across development projects and launches
• Interface with senior leadership, regulatory affairs, quality, and supply chain; represent PTM in strategic committees

• Master in Engineering, life sciences, or related technical field (as stated)
• At least 15 years in technical product management within the medical technology sector
• 5–10 years in a senior leadership role
• Deep knowledge of MDR and FDA and their implementation in large organizations
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and enforce strategic decisions
• Experience introducing new technologies (e.g., AI) and building expertise in innovation
• Track record in portfolio optimization, risk management, and high-level decision-making
• Outstanding communication and conflict management skills enabling interactions with peers and executives
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage
• Willingness to travel 10–20%
