Client Engagement Manager - Automotive OEM (w/m/d)

Overview

We are looking for an Automotive Key Account Manager/Client Engagement Manager (m/w/d) to work with our clients (OEM & Tier1s) to innovate on the total system solution. You will partner with automotive clients to grow their business through co-creation of value and help them maintain freedom to innovate through a trusted partnership.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and expand strategic automotive accounts, ensuring long-term success and satisfaction
  • Identify key client stakeholders and coach them through Microchip solutions while supporting them within their organization
  • Collaborate within a global team to develop and implement sales strategies across client divisions and locations
  • Communicate effectively with Microchip product divisions to provide quantifiable feedback and ROI for client investments
  • Build strong partnerships with automotive clients by presenting Microchip’s insights and technologies
  • Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities to engage new clients
  • Develop compelling business cases to initiate contact with prospects in early sales funnel stages
  • Apply creative strategies to attract new clients and solve complex challenges

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Strong understanding and background in Automotive Industry with a track record in OEM/Tier1 environments
  • Understanding of automotive market dynamics and substantial industry experience
  • Ability to communicate with confidence to C-Level and top management
  • Understanding of embedded electronic system solutions and ability to engage with R&D teams
  • Ability to create market-specific analyses and map them to Microchip solutions
  • Understanding Microchip’s capabilities and translating them into client business and system requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools and platforms to enhance productivity, decision-making, and customer engagement

Qualifications And Experience

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in business and/or engineering with a strong academic record
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Business fluent in German and English
  • Relevant automotive market knowledge and industry experience

  • Communication – Tailor messaging to client needs with strong verbal and written skills

Travel

Travel time: 25% – 50%
