(Senior) Back End Developer (f/m/d) - Node.js

We are a fast growing Ad Tech Startup and are looking for a brilliant Backend Developer to join our Technology Department to work directly with our CTO. You have a unique blend of technical expertise and insatiable curiosity. Do you want to develop, document, and create products that process large amounts of data in real time? Then you are the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Develop awesome backend applications mainly with Node.js
• Take part in all steps of building, planning, developing, deploying, and maintaining our microservices oriented systems (AWS Lambda)
• Write code and tests, build prototypes, solve issues, profile and analyze bottlenecks
• Focus on quality of code through proper testing
• Be a role model and experienced go-to person for other team members
• Being part of the decision-making process for the backend is encouraged and expected

Requirements

• Skill Set:
  • Node.js
  • Javascript
  • DynamoDB
  • AWS Services / AWS Lambda
• You have a growth mindset, challenging status quo to find new solutions and out-of-the-box ideas
• You are able to show projects that you worked on in the past
• You can explain your decision making process for your past projects to choose a certain technology and design pattern over another
• You are curious and motivated to learn new technologies
• You understand the GIT versioning system and common workflows
• You have experience in agile development, including continuous integration, continuous deployment and coding for automated testing
• You rock in time management
• You are fluent in English
