Airbus A220 First Officer – Frankfurt

The opportunity

As a First Officer on the A220, you will operate modern, fuel‑efficient aircraft across Europe while contributing to the growth of a new airline within a trusted global aviation group. What you'll do

• Operate Airbus A220 flights across the European network in accordance with company SOPs and the highest safety standards.
• Partner closely with the Captain and cabin crew to deliver a safe, punctual, and passenger‑focused operation.
• Apply sound decision‑making and effective threat & error management in dynamic operational environments.
• Contribute to a positive team culture as Lufthansa City Airlines expands its A220 operations from Frankfurt and Munich.

What you bring

• Licences: EASA CPL(A) / IR(A) with ATPL theory credit and MCC; or MPL with Phase 4 completed.
• Type rating: Current A220 or A320 type rating.
• Experience: Minimum 500 total flight hours on CS-25 aircraft.
• Medical: Valid Class 1 Medical.
• Training: Advanced UPRT in accordance with EASA.FCL.745.
• Education: General higher education entrance qualification (or equivalent).
• Right to work: EU citizenship or unrestricted EU residence and work permit.
• Travel document: Passport with unlimited validity.
• Language: Confident written and spoken English; minimum ICAO Level 4.
• Mindset: Team player with strong decision‑making skills; openness, professionalism, and pragmatism.
