Anaplan Systems Analyst

Build and maintain Anaplan models for revenue, expense, headcount, and ASC 606 amortization planning
Partner with FP&A teams to gather requirements, understand planning workflows, and deliver Finance solutions
Translate business requirements into Anaplan modules, line items, lists, and formulas
Implement model design best practices with the Senior Architect
Support Anaplan integrations with source systems including NetSuite
Troubleshoot formula errors, performance issues, and unexpected model behavior
Manage model changes through Dev, QA, and production environments
Support UAT with Finance stakeholders
Document model logic, change history, and build decisions
Support onboarding of new versions and scenarios
Update and audit end-user access permissions
Perform data auditing and validation with source systems
Report to the Senior Anaplan Architect and collaborate with FP&A, Accounting, Finance Operations, IT, and data teams

Requirements

2-4+ years of hands-on Anaplan model building experience
Anaplan Model Builder certification (L1, L2)
Experience working directly with FP&A teams or a background in FP&A
Bachelor degree required
Proficiency in Anaplan formula writing including LOOKUP, OFFSET, RANKBY, conditional logic, and time-based calculations
Strong understanding of Anaplan model architecture, including lists, modules, time dimensions, versions, and hierarchy structures
Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems, particularly as a data source for Anaplan models
Ability to read and extend existing model logic without breaking downstream dependencies
Strong communicator, comfortable working directly with Finance and non-technical stakeholders
Detail-oriented with a structured approach to testing and validation
Ability to sit for extended periods (typically 7-8 hours per day)
Ability to use a computer, phone systems, and multiple software applications simultaneously
Ability to create, edit, and present digital materials and documentation
