Application Process Manager (m/w/d)

As an Application Process Manager, you bridge business needs and IT to optimize application-supported processes. You will drive digitalization, process harmonization, and continuous improvement while ensuring alignment with global standards. You’ll shape change and contribute to energy solutions, working with cross-functional teams across regions. This role focuses on turning requirements into practical concepts and facilitating their realization.

• Own and optimize functional design, continual improvement, and standardization of processes supported by applications
• Serve as the main interface between business stakeholders and IT to enable effective collaboration
• Coordinate enhancements and change requests from concept through testing, approval, and release planning
• Document business requirements and process adaptations; ensure smooth handover to technical teams
• Define KPIs, support key users and training, and drive regional continuous improvement

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification; or relevant professional experience with vocational training
• Experience in an interface role between Business and IT, preferably in customer service, logistics, order management, or data management
• Knowledge of application management and hands-on SAP experience preferred
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and structured solution concepts
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; fluent English; German an advantage
