Associate / Vice President Acquisition Finance – DACH & Benelux (f/m/x)

In this role, you drive the origination and execution of complex leveraged finance transactions for private equity sponsors and corporate clients across the DACH and Benelux regions. You collaborate with deal principals and cross-functional teams to manage the full deal lifecycle, from initial evaluation to closing, while refining client pitches and syndication processes. You will influence credit decisions, mentor junior staff, and ensure regulatory compliance. This position offers meaningful exposure to structured financing, deal negotiation, and portfolio management within a dynamic, international bank setting.

• Manage transaction processes from initial evaluation to execution
• Own key workstreams in acquisition finance and contribute to internal credit approvals
• Prepare client pitches and investor marketing materials; support new business origination and client management
• Collaborate with Loan Syndicate to manage the syndication process from start to finish
• Assist Portfolio Management in managing the existing Acquisition Finance portfolio, including amendments and waivers
• Engage with internal stakeholders including risk and approval committees; mentor analysts and interns
• Review transaction documentation, negotiate points with legal teams, ensure regulatory compliance

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related discipline
• 4+ years of professional experience in advisory, capital markets, and/or lending
• Strong credit analysis and financial modelling expertise
• Ability to identify commercial, financial, and legal considerations in complex structures and develop pragmatic solutions
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and stakeholder management
• High attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
• Strong commercial instinct, ownership, and organizational skills

• Fluent in English; professional-level German advantageous
