Vice President Finance/ CFO Business Unit (m/f/d)

As Vice President Finance, you will steer financial strategy for growth, profitability, and cash generation across regions, while ensuring statutory and accounting compliance. You will lead cross‑regional finance transformations and drive a modern, AI‑driven finance function. You partner with the CEO, CFO, and leadership teams to improve forecasting, data quality, and decision support, creating value through profitability initiatives and robust controls. • Lead financial strategy to drive growth, profitability, and cash generation across regions

• Enhance FP&A capabilities, forecasting accuracy, and data quality
• Ensure unified financial data landscape and single source of truth
• Oversee accounting results regionally and ensure statutory accuracy and target delivery
• Maintain internal controls, risk management, and fraud prevention systems
• Provide advisory support to CEO, CFO, ELT, and IPLT; challenge business for profitable decisions
• Foster cross‑team collaboration and best‑practice sharing across divisions and partner companies

• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred
• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in industrial, packaging, or B2B distribution environments
• Proven track record in financial steering, forecasting, and value creation through business partnering
• Experience in ERP implementations and systems harmonization
• Strong ability to drive digitalization, automation, and data‑driven finance processes
• Experience leading finance teams across multiple locations
• IFRS, German GAAP (HGB), and other European accounting standards expertise
• Expertise in compliance, internal controls, risk management, and fraud prevention
• Excellent stakeholder management with executive and board interaction
• Fluency in English; German language is a strong asset
