Business Development Manager - FMCG Brands and Retail

In this role you drive enterprise-level growth for Avery Dennison's labeling and sustainable packaging solutions across Europe. You will build and steward relationships with top FMCG brands, retailers, and manufacturers to create multi-stakeholder partnerships. You will convert long, complex sales cycles into tangible commercial wins while advocating for sustainable packaging innovations. • Leverage your network to engage decision-makers across FMCG, retailers, and contract manufacturers in Europe
• Drive lead generation, manage a robust pipeline in SFDC, and convert leads into Avery Dennison label specifications
• Identify unmet needs and provide insights for product development and market positioning
• Navigate long enterprise opportunity cycles to translate sustainability initiatives into commercial wins
• Coordinate with the sales team to transfer opportunities to the converter channel for fulfillment

• 9+ years of direct B2B enterprise sales in labels, packaging materials, or packaging solutions (must-have)
• Proven track record of targeting and closing opportunities with leading FMCG brands and major European retailers
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
• Strong analytical and technical aptitude with ability to scale multimillion-dollar portfolios
• Fluency in English; French and/or German highly preferred
• Willingness to travel up to 50%
