Category Manager & Global Sourcing Manager Site Services (all genders)

In this role you drive the global Site Services category strategy to enable major capital and operational Investments. You partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Compliance to deliver value through cross-regional sourcing programs. You will shape supplier ecosystems, govern multi-region procurement, and ensure supply continuity while aligning with long-term business priorities. This is a high-visibility role that combines analytics, negotiation, and governance to influence outcomes beyond formal authority.

• Define and evolve the global Site Services category strategy aligned to capital expenditure and OPEX plans
• Lead end-to-end sourcing programs from market analysis and supplier segmentation to contract closure and claim management
• Build and manage a high-performing, multi-region supplier portfolio with formal SRM programs and KPI governance
• Establish governance cadences and metrics to ensure supply continuity and value delivery across Americas, Europe, and Asia
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Compliance as a trusted procurement partner
• Coordinate virtual global category teams to generate cross-project synergies and transparent executive reporting
• Drive sustained value improvements and cost optimization while maintaining compliance and ESG objectives
• Translate technical requirements into compelling procurement solutions using advanced analytics and TCO models

• 8–12+ years in strategic sourcing and category management
• Strong track record in indirect, technical, or engineering-related procurement within multinational environments
• Expertise in global category strategies, capital and operational expenditure procurement, and multi-region supplier governance
• Fluency in total cost of ownership modeling, spend analytics, should-cost analysis, and advanced negotiation
• Outstanding stakeholder management and ability to influence without formal authority in a matrixed organization
• Understanding of GMP standards and sustainable procurement practices aligned to ESG
• Experience with AI tools in procurement for informed decision-making
• Business fluency in English; German, French, or Mandarin as an advantage
