Contract Manager for Procurement (m,w,d)

In this role you will lead procurement contract activities within Space Systems, acting as a focal point for strategic projects. You will shape the contractual policy, draft and revise contracts, and support tender processes from baseline approval to negotiations and awards. You will manage contract life cycles, handle complex amendments and disputes, and contribute to training and governance. • Serve as the focal point for Space Systems projects and programs
• Define and implement Airbus procurement contractual policy and terms & conditions
• Draft and revise standard procurement contracts with cross-functional requirements
• Support Call for Tenders by validating baselines, evaluating bids, negotiating, and overseeing awards
• Lead contract negotiations and drafting alongside commodity managers across various contract types
• Approve and sign the contract validation form (CVF) with key contract elements
• Manage contract life cycle including amendments, claims, settlements, and potential disputes
• Provide contract analysis and expert support to other Company functions
• Advise stakeholders on contractual implications of internal improvement projects (e.g., IP, confidentiality)
• Develop and enhance Procurement Academy training; coach stakeholders in contracts and negotiations

• university degree (ideally legal background)
• 6+ years of contracts negotiation experience in sales, procurement, or commercial environments
• native German with professional negotiation-level English
• strong drafting and language skills for precise contractual text
• open-minded, self-motivated team player capable of operating at all levels
