Customer Engagement Applications Engineer(Dresden/ESMC)

In this role you will support European customers, develop new best-known methods to increase product adoption, and lead project activities at customer sites for Films and Optical CD platforms. You will drive pre-sales and post-sales activities, deliver technical applications support, and train customers. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to help achieve business goals and expand product adoption across fabrication facilities. This is a technically demanding, customer-facing role with significant travel and impact on product success.

• Drive product adoption at customer site
• Support division and local Business Unit to achieve business goals
• Provide technical applications support for development and implementation of products in customer facilities
• Deliver presentations on products and provide customer trainings
• Assist sales in assessing applications and preparing detailed product specifications
• Support project execution and product adoption at customer sites
• Collaborate closely with divisional team and local Business Unit to meet KLA goals

• Master in Materials Science, Physics or Electronics/Electrical engineering
• Languages: fluent English, German; Mandarin knowledge a plus
• EU driving license
• Willingness to travel >50% of time (including 2–3 months in Taiwan)
• 3 years of semiconductor IC fab experience beneficial
• Statistics software knowledge (e.g., JMP) a plus
• Travel flexibility and ability to work in a demanding customer-oriented environment
