D&I Program Manager, Professional Services

In this role you will drive complex projects to scale governmental adoption of the Planet Platform and data products. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape project strategy and deliver reliable platform solutions. You’ll contribute to business development by crafting proposals for defense and intelligence customers. You will lead scope, milestones, risks, and customer success, while building scalable, efficient processes. • Collaborate with Professional Services Engineers, PreSales, and Product Management to design and deliver platform and data solutions
• Lead development of proposals for D&I customers by gathering inputs and articulating value
• Define project scope, objectives, and success metrics with internal and external stakeholders
• Translate business/technical requirements into clear deliverables
• Plan and manage detailed project schedules; drive scope, mitigate risks, and manage costs
• Provide regular progress updates to customers and internal stakeholders
• Design and implement scalable and efficient operational processes
• Monitor workflows to identify and improve inefficiencies
• Manage contracts with subcontractors, including task assignment and budgeting
• Measure project performance and customer satisfaction to improve future delivery

• 6+ years of project management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Experience contributing to technical proposals
• Experience with Defense and Intelligence community
• Ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects in technical/product settings
• Excellent written and verbal communication
