Director - Client Finance, Europe

In this role you drive client-focused finance operations for Europe within a global client finance function. You lead a sizable team, ensure GAAP-compliant engagement accounting, and partner with Partners and Client Service Teams to deliver strategic and operational support. You’ll identify efficiencies, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across regions. • Oversee engagement accounting operations for Europe and ensure GAAP compliance
• Lead a team of ~60 finance professionals and foster a high-performing culture
• Collaborate with Cell Finance, Practices, RPC, PD, Global Operations, Tax, and regional teams to drive innovations
• Provide performance insights to regional finance leaders and address escalations
• Manage fee recognition, utilization tracking, billing, and collections; maintain robust financial controls
• Drive efficiencies, performance improvements, and adoption of new processes and systems
• Recruit, develop, and retain talent to sustain excellence
• Balance global standards with regional needs to ensure alignment and adaptability

• 10+ years of finance and accounting experience in a professional services environment
• Advanced degree or professional certifications preferred (CPA, CMA, MBA, etc.)
• Expertise in engagement accounting and US GAAP compliance
• Experience leading large teams and managing stakeholder relationships
• Proven ability to implement change initiatives and drive process improvements
• SAP or other ERP/financial systems experience; exposure to digital transformation
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to act as strategic partner and collaborate across regions and functions
