Director of Engineering (Fully Remote)

• You will own engineering of the Nexus Exchange end-to-end, including matching engine, risk engine, settlement, and infrastructure.
• This is a money-handling domain where correctness, throughput, and latency are non-negotiable.
• You'll set direction and stay hands-on in the highest-leverage code.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and lead the full Exchange and its sub-components: API, CLI, SDK, oracle, and infrastructure.
• Drive end-to-end automation of engineering processes: logging, telemetry, observability.
• Design team structures and incentives with the CEO and exec team.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years building production software, 2+ in engineering leadership across multiple teams.
• Proven high-throughput, low-latency systems experience with strong concurrent/parallel systems command.
• Deep hands-on stack fluency in Rust, Go, Next.js/TS, and GCP.
