Engineer 2- Stuttgart, Germany

As Engineer 2 in the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit, you will design, engineer, and support secure electronic systems for federal, local, and commercial customers. You will coordinate across engineers, PMs, and field techs to deliver compliant security projects and lead design reviews and pre-install checks. The role combines design, coordination, and hands-on troubleshooting to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery in a fast-growing security domain. You will contribute to design standards and mentor project execution with a focus on security integration at scale.

• Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure compliance with client and data center standards.
• Own technical submittals (Product Data, O&M, Warranty) for security projects.
• Support lifecycle of large-scale construction projects.
• Coordinate multiple designs to meet customer standards.
• Participate in coordination calls with engineering team and project managers.
• Attend coordination calls with contractors to align security drawings and installation.
• Track revisions, RFIs, submittals, and BOM through project lifecycle.
• Lead Design Review sessions and client Page Turn reviews.
• Develop and improve design standards.
• Lead complex projects and oversee execution through design excellence processes.
• Lead Pre-Installation Testing and Check Out of security equipment.
• Review RFP docs and SOW, develop BOM and forecast engineering time for bids.
• Provide on-site surveys and field troubleshooting/commissioning support.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2+ years of experience in programs of similar scope and complexity
• Willingness to travel up to 25%
• Experience with physical security systems and IT solutions
