Executive Director, GVAP HEOR Rare Tumors (all genders)

You lead the global Rare Tumors HEOR program to generate and demonstrate value across geographies. In this role you guide a high‑performing team, align HEOR activities with development, launch, and lifecycle plans, and drive payer engagement strategies. You shape the evidence strategy, oversee methods like RWE, PROs, and economic modeling, and collaborate across R&D, statistics, epidemiology, and policy to secure market access. This is a strategic, cross‑functional role focused on building an integrated access framework and optimizing value realization for Rare Tumors assets. • Lead the global Rare Tumors HEOR strategy and value demonstration plan across assets and geographies
• Build and manage a high‑performing HEOR team and coordinate regional and country colleagues
• Align HEOR strategies with brand, reimbursement, and payer strategies; educate and train the commercial team on HEOR data
• Oversee HTA readiness, RWE, PRO strategies, and health economic modeling aligned with lifecycle plans and launch sequencing
• Governance of data standards, quality, and compliance across all HEOR analyses; define and track KPIs
• Ensure integrated collaboration with R&D, biostatistics, epidemiology, Global Medical Affairs, and policy/patient advocacy
• Establish and chair the Rare Tumors Value Assessment Strategy Team (VAST) for governance and timely HTA inputs
• Represent the Global MAP perspective across governance bodies and platforms to secure global access
• Cultivate relationships with payers, policymakers, academics, and patient advocates to strengthen the evidence base
• Manage the HEOR budget, resources, data assets, and external vendors to deliver on plan
• Mentor and develop HEOR leadership and teams to sustain capability
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Advanced scientific degree in public health, health services research, health economics and outcomes research, epidemiology, statistics, economics, or related field (master or doctorate)
• At least 10 years’ experience in health economics and outcomes research within pharma/biotech, market access, consultancy, or research institute
• At least 7 years’ experience leading a global team with strategy, budgets, and resource allocation
• Deep expertise in economic modeling, evidence synthesis, PROs, comparative effectiveness, RWE, and HTA evidence packages
• Experience in rare diseases or oncology with multi‑geography evidence generation and launch support (preferred)
• Ability to translate complex scientific insights into pricing, reimbursement, and lifecycle decisions for payers
• Experience with regulatory/compliance, data governance, cross‑functional governance, project delivery, vendor management, and budget oversight
• Understanding of AI tools and responsible use including bias, privacy, governance, and accountability
• Strategic mindset with ability to shape programs supporting patient access while aligning with long‑term product strategy
