Field Application Engineer - Distribution (m/f/d) - REMOTE EMEA

In this role, you will champion TE's Performance Materials offerings across Europe, partnering with Automotive Channel and distributors to uncover opportunities, influence demand, and secure design-ins. You will combine technical know-how with commercial savvy to drive growth and product adoption in targeted markets. You’ll work cross-functionally to translate customer needs into actionable requirements for NPI and portfolio development. • Understand PFM technologies and map them to market needs
• Engage with Automotive Channel team and distributors to identify customers
• Build trust with key contacts and decision makers across channels
• Drive pipeline and convert opportunities by applying product and technical knowledge
• Identify customer needs and present PFM solutions to drive design-ins
• Translate customer insights into requirements for NPI and portfolio development
• Leverage VOC tools to communicate trends to internal TE teams
• Maintain accurate CRM data for visibility and forecasting

• 3–7 years of sales experience, preferably in engineered electronics, electrical solutions, or materials-science products
• Background with material-science–based solutions (HST, liquid sealing, EMI shielding) is advantageous
• Experience in automotive sector is a plus
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
• Leadership capabilities with problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to influence stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel 50–75%
