Field Service Engineer (all genders) Frankfurt / Darmstadt

In this role you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair semiconductor production systems on customer sites across Germany and Europe. You will ensure safe operation of gas/chemical distribution, blending, monitoring and life-safety systems while delivering strong customer service. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and detailed service documentation, providing practical operation and configuration solutions. The role requires up to 85% travel and a commitment to quality, safety, and operational excellence.

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production material systems at customer sites
• Manage gas/chemical distribution, blending equipment, monitoring, and life-safety systems
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections
• Document service activities accurately and provide practical operation/configuration solutions
• Travel up to 85% within Germany and Europe
• Uphold quality, safety, and escalation procedures

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another technical discipline
• 2+ years of experience in semiconductor, chemical, or manufacturing settings
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience in preventive maintenance and service documentation
• Committed to quality and safety; follows procedures and escalation processes
• Strong communication and customer service skills; able to work independently and remotely
• Excellent English, basic German language skills
• Physically able to perform duties including lifting, climbing, PPE usage
• ISO 9000/9001 awareness is a plus; valid passport and driver’s license with clean record
