Global Director Logistics (m/f/d)

In this role you lead global logistics to ensure best-in-class service while driving cost efficiency. You will shape and execute logistics strategy across wholesale, retail, and direct-to-consumer channels, partnering with sales and 3PLs to meet growth objectives. You’ll optimize inventory, storage, and distribution and steer tender processes with forwarders to secure value. Your leadership enables cross-functional collaboration and scalable operations in a fast-growing company.

• Lead all global logistics functions including transportation, distribution, and warehousing
• Develop and implement global inventory and distribution strategies across channels
• Negotiate with forwarding agencies and 3PLs; oversee tender processes for cost-effective services
• Ensure market-leading service while improving cost efficiency in operations
• Align storage and transport capacity with current demand and growth plans
• Collaborate with sales to address logistics challenges, perform cost analyses, manage import duties, and support special projects
• Oversee daily operations and maintain strong partnerships with 3PL providers
• Maintain robust inventory control, storage systems, and QA processes for compliance and service levels

• Degree in Business Administration, Business Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Extensive leadership experience in senior supply chain or logistics roles at European and global levels
• Deep understanding of global forwarding operations and 3PL networks
• Proven track record in designing, implementing, and optimizing distribution processes
• Strong leadership and team management skills; hands-on with strategic vision
• Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in business English; German or additional languages is a plus
• Willingness to travel internationally
