What you will enjoy doing

• In this role, you willwork in a dynamicenvironment to assure the safety and reliability of our electricalequipment and power systems at Linde facilities worldwide; the positionprovides technical expertise to the global teams
• Development and implementation of electricalstrategies to improve safety, reliability and costs in operating regions
• Assist LGSR, CVL, POL Network, SQM, EquipmentSpecifications and other Engineering strategies related to new plantdesign, construction and commissioning
• You will support regions and plants to identify rootcauses, implement mitigations, and recover plant operations after majorfailures
• Participate in the development and implementationof electrical safety policies and compliance programs
• Assist in developing maintenance standards andoperating procedures for electrical equipment and systems
• Support sites and RBUs to develop and implementstrategies for improving electrical reliability and reducing costs
• Further, you will assist in identifying and developing newpredictive maintenance technologies for electrical equipment andimplementing across all RBUs
• Evaluate and optimize electrical preventivemaintenance methodologies
• Assist RBUs to solve technical issues and recoveroperations safely and effectively, as well to assist in site reliability assessments and withaction item completion
• Liaison between operations and Linde Engineeringto align on electrical design / construction standards
• You will participate in updates and implementation ofLinde Gas Standard requirements (LGSR) & Critical Vendor List (CVL)program, with emphasis on IEC requirements
• Assist regions in identifying and resolvingchronic asset failures (bad actors) as well as assist regions inidentifying and resolving long-term asset concerns (reliability threats)
• Also, you will work with the regions and functional teams todrive resolution of high impact issues with a strong sense of urgency andintegrity

What makes you great

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering isrequired plus a minimum ten (10) years of experience in medium & highvoltage maintenance or engineering in an industrial manufacturingenvironment
• Proven experience in maintenance, engineering andspecification of electrical equipment such as low/medium/high voltageswitchgear, transformers, motors and distribution systems
• Further, you have a proven knowledge of preventive maintenancemethodologies and predictive technologies
• And proven experience in standard software packagesand electrical networking tools such as ETAP, SKM etc. is preferred
• Further, you have a proven understanding of electrical, control andinstrumentation systems in an industrial manufacturing environment ispreferred as well as experience with interpreting electrical drawings anddocumentation
• Excellent communication, team interaction andpresentation skills suit your profile
• Proven ability to work independently as well aslead / participate on cross functional teams
• Proven experience as a self-starter whoeffectively manages multiple tasks and achieves results with minimalsupervision
• You have experience with regulatory and industry standardsand codes, such as including IEC & EN standards
• Ability to travel up to 20% globally as necessary
