Overview

In this role you ensure safety and reliability of electrical equipment and power systems across Linde facilities worldwide. You will develop and implement electrical strategies to improve safety, reliability, and cost efficiency, while supporting design, construction, and commissioning. You collaborate with regional teams to identify root causes, mitigate issues, and safeguard operations, contributing to global electrical standards and programs.

Verantwortungsbereiche
  • Develop and implement electrical strategies to enhance safety, reliability and costs in operating regions
  • Assist in design, construction and commissioning of new plants
  • Identify root causes, implement mitigations, and recover operations after major failures
  • Contribute to electrical safety policies and compliance programs
  • Assist in maintaining standards and procedures for electrical equipment and systems
  • Support sites to improve electrical reliability and reduce costs
  • Identify and implement predictive maintenance technologies across RBUs
  • Evaluate and optimize preventive maintenance methodologies
  • Liaise with Linde Engineering to align electrical design/standards
  • Contribute to LGSR & CVL program updates with IEC focus
  • Resolve chronic asset failures and long-term reliability threats
  • Drive resolution of high-impact issues with urgency and integrity
  • Participate in cross-functional efforts and site reliability assessments
  • Support regulatory compliance with IEC/EN standards
  • Travel up to 20% globally
Zentrale Anforderungen
  • Bachelor in Electrical Engineering
  • 10+ years in medium & high voltage maintenance or engineering in industrial manufacturing
  • Experience with electrical equipment (low/medium/high voltage switchgear, transformers, motors, distribution systems)
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance and predictive technologies
  • Experience with ETAP and SKM or similar tools
  • Understanding of electrical, control and instrumentation systems; ability to read electrical drawings
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and lead/c participate in cross-functional teams
  • Experience with regulatory standards and codes IEC/EN
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
