Global Lean Manager (m/f/d) | Future Operations Leader

Overview

In this role within the Global Lean Management Team, you will drive Operational Excellence for the Life Science & Environment division and partner with Plant Managers worldwide. You will gain broad exposure to manufacturing operations and global transformation initiatives while preparing for an operational leadership position within our global network. You will lead Lean strategies, develop value streams, and coach managers to sustain improvements. This is a hands-on, global role that blends strategy, training and cross-site collaboration to elevate performance and growth. You will work in a dynamic, multicultural environment to shape the future of our LS&E manufacturing network.

Verantwortungsbereiche
  • Plan and execute Lean strategy for the Life Science & Environment division
  • Drive Operational Excellence initiatives aligned with sustainable business performance
  • Develop and deliver training; coach managers and Lean champions
  • Establish and manage value stream development across manufacturing sites
  • Standardize and continuously improve Lean principles, methods, and tools
  • Lead and follow up on international workshops and improvement initiatives
  • Conduct Lean and Operational Excellence assessments at global sites
  • Collaborate with Plant Managers and Operations Leaders to realize improvement opportunities across the network
Zentrale Anforderungen
  • 3-7 years of experience in Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Continuous Improvement, or similar
  • Experience implementing Lean, Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence initiatives
  • Initial experience managing cross-functional projects in an international environment
  • Manufacturing experience highly preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to translate data into sustainable improvement actions
  • Experience facilitating workshops or trainings
  • Strong MS Office skills; SAP knowledge beneficial
  • Effective communication with shopfloor to senior leadership
