IT Support Specialist

In this role you ensure reliable IT services at Amcor sites, supporting standard workstation deployment, local IT assets, and user assistance. You will work within Group IT to uphold global standards and security policies, while communicating changes and educating end users. Your impact spans asset management, incident handling, and enabling site operations through effective IT support and project involvement. This is an hands-on role for maintaining and improving IT service delivery within a multi-site environment, offering visibility into infrastructure and end-user support at scale.

• Deliver IT services for one or more sites up to 300 devices per FTE
• Maintain user support processes, asset management, and vendor relations at site level
• Provide L1–L2 support for standard workstation deployment and support; L3 for server and virtualization environments
• Communicate upcoming changes and deliver end-user training; align activities with global IT standards and security policies
• Lead IT infrastructure and support process changes for shared services at sites; ensure quality of service
• Document knowledge base, procedures, and help guides; manage security policies and asset lifecycle
• Support network infrastructure (LAN switches, Access Points); manage monitoring and server patching/updates
• Onboard/offboard users and support major/site events; ensure effective end-user education
• Ensure proper data backup and restore procedures; manage printer and MFD devices

• Technical education in computer science or equivalent experience/studies
• Windows/Cisco certifications are a plus
• ITIL Foundations desirable
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluency in English (spoken and written); other languages a plus
• Project experience is advantageous
• Knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting Windows Server operating systems; knowledge of server virtualization
