Overview

As Lead Systems & Performance Engineer for Hunt: Showdown 1896, you will own core systems development, drive performance initiatives, and provide technical leadership across the team. You will collaborate with gameplay, engine, and design teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable solutions for both client and server environments. You will mentor engineers and push for technical excellence while contributing hands-on to the project. This role combines leadership with hands-on engineering on a cutting-edge title in a state-of-the-art Frankfurt office.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Provide technical and people leadership for the Systems & Performance team
Lead design, development, and optimization of systems and performance initiatives with hands-on contribution
Ensure performance, scalability, stability, and reliability targets across client and dedicated server environments
Collaborate with Gameplay, Design, Engine, QA, and Production teams to deliver technical solutions and player-facing features
Translate technical direction into actionable plans with the team to drive execution
Plan, estimate, and prioritize technical work balancing feature development, optimization, debt, and maintainability
Mentor engineers through coaching, code reviews, and knowledge sharing
Foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement
