Logistics Team Leader

Overview

In this role you will guide regional logistics strategy and lead a cross-functional team to meet service goals. You’ll partner with business units to drive end-to-end logistics performance, safety, and cost efficiency, while developing a culture of accountability and collaboration. You’ll oversee budget, HR processes, and key improvement programs that enhance service quality and productivity. This position offers impact across regional operations and a chance to shape logistics excellence in a global chemical company.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Execute regional logistics strategy and drive service level adherence across the region
Engage with Businesses and OF teams to ensure service goals are met
Manage regional budget and local HR processes
Lead the training and cultural development of the logistics organization (e.g., proactive, accountable, agile, collaborate and engage)
Recruit new staff and oversee performance management
Implement logistics strategies in collaboration with Supply Chain and regional specialists
Drive projects to improve service, cost performance, and transportation safety
Lead initiatives to raise logistics workforce quality and process performance
Ensure compliance and environmental responsibility in regional logistics activities
Foster external relationships with 3rd party providers, regulators, and key customers
Support regional leadership in transportation safety programs
Partner with S2P on external relationships and regulatory contacts

Zentrale Anforderungen

Bachelor-level degree in business, logistics, supply chain, finance, or technology-related field
5–8 years in a relevant service role (procurement, customer service, or supply chain)
Experience in chemical, safety or transport industries is a plus
Process thinking and strong analytical capabilities
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
Results-driven with a service and safety focus
SAP experience
