Medical Advisor

In this Medical Advisor role, you will support the German market within Mundipharma’s Medical Affairs team, shaping medical strategy for growth brands. You’ll provide scientific consultation to internal and external stakeholders and help translate medical knowledge into brand positioning and patient-centric initiatives. The position involves collaboration with marketing, sales, and global medical teams, plus ongoing evidence generation and education. This is a cross-functional, impact-driven role at the intersection of science and strategy.

• Provide scientific consultation for products to internal teams and external stakeholders
• Support product positioning through scientific publications and events
• Review and approve promotional and non-promotional medical texts
• Engage healthcare professionals for speaker events at national and international conferences
• Stay updated on scientific trends via literature reviews and congress participation
• Broaden medical knowledge and educate HCPs, KEEs, and stakeholders
• Identify evidence gaps and drive evidence generation and insights
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to disseminate medical knowledge
• Monitor trainings and document cross-functional exchanges on the SharePoint drive
• Align local medical goals with growth brands in collaboration with the Country Medical Director and marketing team
• Translate in-market insights into medical strategy and communications
• Ensure ethical standards and adherence to SOPs in discussions on off-label topics

• Previous experience as Medical Advisor or Medical Manager
• Experience in substitution area (or mental health/pain medication) is essential; disease area expertise welcome
• Proven knowledge of the German market and EfPIA codes of conduct
• Degree in natural sciences or related field; preferably medicine, veterinary medicine, pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences or biology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, networking, relationship cultivation
• High willingness to travel
• Strong presentation development and delivery skills
• Ability to interpret scientific data and translate papers for target audiences
• Integrity, trust, and strong business acumen
• Fluency in English and German
