Metro Construction EHS Manager - Germany

As Metro Construction EHS Manager, you will drive health, safety, and environmental programs across construction projects in the Cologne region. You will partner with cross-functional teams to implement safety standards, manage risk, and ensure regulatory compliance. Your work will influence safe project delivery at scale within Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure footprint. You will report to the Regional Director, Construction and Design Safety, contributing to One Microsoft culture and continuous improvement.

• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to support decision making and business objectives
• Influence and align senior stakeholders to back strategic initiatives and continuous improvement
• Develop and communicate performance metrics, dashboards, and scorecards for data-driven decisions
• Lead multiple high-priority projects, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with requirements
• Provide leadership to teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and execution in a fast-paced environment
• Partner with cross-functional teams to establish shared goals and deliver business outcomes
• Communicate project status, risks, opportunities, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
• Experience in safety and EHS with multi-site risk management, including Germany or other European locations
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and relevant German regulatory safety standards for construction and operations
• Experience implementing health and safety programs in construction environments aligned with global standards and local requirements
