Plant Quality Engineer

In this role you will drive quality improvements at the plant, bridging production with R&D, customers, and suppliers. You’ll coordinate complaint handling, facilitate FMEAs, and support the ongoing development of the quality management system. You will lead quality and audit activities, and participate in cross-functional improvement projects to enhance product and process quality. This is a hands-on, cross‑functional position at Nordenham contributing to sustainable quality across the value chain.

• Coordinate quality and complaint reports (internal and external)
• Analyze root causes and drive corrective and preventive actions
• Verify effectiveness of implemented measures
• Prepare customer reports and quality analyses
• Participate in customer meetings and present measures and results
• Execute and support quality improvement projects
• Plan, facilitate, and execute Design and Process FMEAs
• Coordinate interdisciplinary FMEA teams and track measures
• Conduct production process audits and prepare audit reports
• Verify effectiveness of audit-driven actions
• Support customer and certification audits
• Create and maintain supply specifications and conduct supplier audits
• Process and track supplier complaints; qualify and develop suppliers
• Coordinate with Purchasing, R&D, and Production to ensure supplier quality

• Technical degree or technical vocational training with relevant further education or equivalent qualifications
• Several years of experience in industrial quality management
• Knowledge of FMEA, audit management, and complaint handling
• Experience with quality methods (8D, Ishikawa, 5-Why, SPC, Six Sigma) is a plus
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or relevant standards
• Proficiency in MS Office
